		<description>I much prefer his Di Quella Pira from 1934 in Italian.  Much better tempo.  His voice has opened up a lot.......and Italian sounds sooooooo much better.
Lots of Italian type passion.  And he makes it sound easy!!!

		<description>Youtube has many clips including some from this album.  So far I like the Te Quiero Morena best.  The Mattinata is quite exciting and in places he kept reminding me of another tenor...not in vocal quality, but phrasing...Jan Peerce.  Am I nuts!!

He could have sung with Lily Pons.  Probably a dozen operas would have suited them very well.

That&#039;s about the most impressive trill I&#039;ve heard from a tenor.

I much prefer him to Gigli, who was extremely polished, smooth and elegant........just not as exciting.
