I don’t know if this is going to catch on, but it’s a clever idea. It likely shows where we’re headed in helping people who have difficulty walking.

Interesting. I wonder it efficacy in Parkinson’s disease and how many falls could be prevented (the later more difficult to test), etc.
By the way, the name of the device is ASIMO, I wonder if the similarity to ASIMOV (Isaac) is just mere coincidence or it was inspired in his science fiction novels (foundation trilogy, Robot series), which are highly recommended.
Where is the motor or energy??? Is it a spring??? Do not understand the concept of how it helps??
